Resources for teachers in circular economy
In a global context where sustainability is increasingly a requirement, training professionals with skills in circular economy is essential to address future challenges. With this goal in mind, the Basque Circular Hub provides teachers with a set of key resources that support and facilitate the integration of circular economy into teaching.
The Basque Circular Hub offers teachers a compilation of resources, tools and services created by Ihobe for the development of circular skills, facilitating their access and use by university and vocational training educators. These resources include methodological guides, MOOC courses and other tools that may be useful to strengthen training in circular economy.
The Basque Circular Hub also maintains a skills analysis platform that makes it possible to identify the innovative technical skills that companies currently require and will require in order to face the transition towards a circular economy model. Through the annual results reports, teachers can access a detailed overview of the skills demanded by companies in the short and medium term.
The annual Teachers’ Forums aim to be a space for reflection and knowledge exchange among the different actors involved in training future professionals. Targeted at both universities and vocational training centres (through TKNIKA), their objective is to address regulatory and market trends, the new technical skills demanded by companies, and jointly identify opportunities and needs to strengthen circular economy training for future professionals.
