Activities
The Basque Circular Hub brings together all the experience accumulated in the initiatives carried out in the Basque Country in the field of Ecodesign in recent years:
- The Ecodesign Classroom programme, developed over 13 years through the collaboration between the Basque Government’s Public Agency Ihobe, BEAZ Bizkaia and the Bilbao School of Engineering.
- The Basque Ecodesign Center Ideas Laboratory, a centre for defining new business models that use the environment as a factor of competitive differentiation.
- The Basque Ecodesign Hub, a training, project development and research centre in ecodesign and eco‑innovation, open to universities and training centres in the Basque Country.
However, the Basque Circular Hub is much more than the sum of the activities of these three previous models, as it develops new areas of work and expands both its target audience and the activities it carries out.
